A NEW VOICE FOR JOHNSTON COUNTY
Rev. Dr. Wendy Ella May is a trailblazer she has been the first at many historical crossroads in her life, Wendy was born non-binary before the term was even a word excepted as a new term by websters dictionary. In New Jersey, in 1961 She was raised as a child in a small town along the New Jersey shore where her family was very active member of the local political scene.
My background has provided me with the skill set and values to serve effectively as your NC House District 28 representative . Growing up in New Jersey, I was involved in local politics from an early age. I also learned from my father, who was a United States Army Combat Veteran about the honor of service to our country. When my father passed away when I was nine, my mother became the head of our household and helped me develop into who I am today. I too served my country. I am a United States Army Disabled Veteran.
My education has also focused on service to my community and my deep faith in God. I am a graduate of the International Bible Institute and from the seminary of the United States New Methodist Episcopal Orthodox Religious Order and Churches.
As your NC House District 28 representative, I will bring a servant heart, field experience, tried and trusted leadership, transparency, and the ability to engage minority and marginalized citizens. I will be available to you night or day, welcoming your advice, suggestions and support.
I would be interested in your thoughts and opinions about moving North Carolina forward. Please email me at wemtmf@gmail.com or call me at 919-901-5653.
Together, we can do this.
